My Toshiba C55D-5203 has 2 memory slots, and came with 4GB DDR3L (12800S 1600 MHz) pre-installed memory.
I added 8GB Single Channel memory in the available slot. The computer shows 12GB memory now,
I am told that I won't get much benefit of additional memory, since this is Single Channel.
Please help me what type (and size) of memory I should use on this laptop.
