So I know there have been quite a few post like this but I thought I´d make a new one based on me and with more recent results.

So I am looking for a new monitor to buy as my old one is starting to have contact issues and my screens keeps turning off until I adjust the cable.

My budget is pretty much 150$ and I´m looking for a minimum 24" with a as high as possible resolution and refreshrate.
I will most likely use my old one together with this one so I have a 2 monitor setup.

If needed here are my most relevant specs:

CPU: FX-8350
GPU: R9 280X by XFX
MoBo: AsRock 970 Extreme3 Rev2.0
Current Monitor: BenQ Gl2450

ATM I´m. looking at these monitors:

or the older

and my favourite is:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-G246HLBBID-24-inch-Monitor-EcoDisplay/dp/B008I39WXC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476643325&sr=8-1&keywords=Acer-G246HLBbid

(sorry for german amazon :D)

Thanks in advance :)

If you have a favourite, just go for it ;)

A monitor is personal prefference and opinions will vary per person. So if you feel like buying the Acer one, just do it!

I would recommend the Samsung S24E390HL (https://www.amazon.de/Samsung-S24E390HL-Monitor-Reaktionzeit-schwarz/dp/B00UHAX95G/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1476642419&sr=8-4&keywords=S24D300H) mainly as it is the best looking and newest looking monitor. It does have a 2ms added response time form the other monitors but honestly, i've made the jump and have not noticed it at all whilst gaming with a GTX 970 on Black Ops 2. It does also have a 1yr warranty stated in the details.
