So i've got an Asus G751JT laptop. I replaced the old battery because it wouldnt hold a charge at all but now the new battery i have in is acting very strangely.

https://www.amazon.com/A42N1403-Battery-GFX71JT4710-GFX71JT4720-GFX71JY4860/dp/B01JG76VIW/ref=sr_1_8?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1476645537&sr=1-8&keywords=A42N1403+Battery ---- thats the battery i bought.

whenever my laptop is on the charger everything works great, no problems at all. but when im on the battery my laptop seems to shut off at random times. if i try to start the computer without the charger it will load the asus symbol and the loading sign for a few seconds but then when windows tries to load it shuts off. if i load windows when its on the charger then take the charger off (it says the battery is 98%) at it will stay on unless i do anything too taxing such as loading games or playing videos. i did load Doom(2016) one time when it was on the charger and unplugged it while playing the game and it lasted about 10 minutes, but when i exited the game (straight to windows) it died.
i tried this again about 30 minutes later and it died after about 10 seconds of playing.

i thought it was the battery so i got the company so send me a replacement but the new one is doing the exact same things. i've tried reinstalling the battery in device manager, resetting windows, updating everything on the computer.
The only thing i haven't tried yet is re-calibrating the battery but i cant do that because it dies at about 70% no matter what.

When i replaced the battery i had to take the laptop halfway apart (down to the motherboard), could i have done something wrong when i disassembled/reassembled it? is the problem my motherboard and not the battery? are there trolls in my laptop doing this to me just for fun?
someone please help. this is extremely frustrating.
