My pc is 9 months old. Specs are -

CPU - AMD FX 6300
MOBO - GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ rev 6.0
RAM - Corsair vengeance DDR3 (2 x 8GB)
GPU - Sapphire R7 260X 2GB
PSU - Corsair VS550PSU
Water cooler - Cooler Master Seidon 120V Plus (bought and installed today)
HDD - 2 x WD 1TB
1 x Kingston 240GB SSD (4 days old)

I have dual boot. Windows 10 (SSD) and 7(HDD).

It started about 3 months ago, before it was quite rare but gradually it became more and more frequent. And now, COMPLETELY random. PC reboots without warning even while doing nothing, watching movies, playing games. Sometimes i am able to play a high end game for like 2 straight hours, and sometimes it reboots while normal booting.

Quite sure it isnt my temps, CPU and GPU mostly hover around 40-45C and 68-70C, respectively.

I have seen all the forums posts about this and most of them say PSU is the culprit. But i still wanna make sure. I have heard that people here can guess if a PSU faulty or not by looking at voltages. So here is mine.

Please help!

Solution
PSU is likely. Could also be an issue with the motherboard. The reset button might also be broken, or shorting the pins on the mobo.

Jesus u guys are fast......:sarcastic:
Jokes aside, If the problem lies within the reset button, unplugging the reset button pins from the mobo should fix it right?

Yes.

Nope. PC rebooted twice while i was writing this reply after unplugging the pins.

SO definitely PSU then? BTW, anything wrong / odd in the voltages in the picture??

Ok so i have now moved to a new city... And now it seems the reboots have become much less annoying..... In the last 7 days, I have used my computer like 3-4 hours average per day... And the reboots have been occurring like once or twice in a day... Some days, it didnt even reboot....

Also, i have changed my PSU today to Seasonic M12II-620 Bronze Evo Edition 620W... Seems to be a tier 2 PSU according to
http:// ...

Now... I have made an observation..... HWMonitor still gives those weird readings...

But.... My BIOS gives correct readings.. I guess...

I will try out my new PSU for a couple of days and will then revert back...
