About a week ago i switched my r7 250 for a r9 380x and everything seemed to work just fine.
However when playing games that need more power for example Dark Souls 3 my PC can run it for about 2 hours. Then after 2 hours the fans in my PC suddenly start to make a lot of noise and then after about 30 seconds my game freezes and makes a buzzing sound from my speakers and I have to manually reset my PC.

I have checked my tempretures of my cpu gpu and motherboard and none of those are too high.
Furthermore on the internet i read that it might be a driver issue so i runned CMD and then entered the command sfc /scannow. CMD managed to find corrupt drivers. So I repaired my windows 10 and afterwards CMD sfc/ scannow no longer found corrupt drivers. However the crash still happens after playing games for a while. I have read it could be a PSU issue or perhaps somewhere my drivers are still messed up.

Probably worth mentioning as well that neither my GPU or CPU are overclocked.

Specs
CPU---A10-7870K
GPU--- Gigabyte R9 380X
Motherboard--- A68HM GRENADE
PSU--- Coolermaster B700 V2 700W

I dont really remember my other specs but I dont think it is relevant if it is however be sure to ask me and i will search for it.

Your APU graphics should be disabled when you've installed a discrete GPU and connected video cables to it. You mentioned installing drivers again after DDU, are they a different version? Next suspect would still be OS corruption since sfc found errors earlier. May want to scan your OS drive, smart test, ect.

Sorry for late reply.
Anyway my gpu temps are around 65-70 when playing games like dark souls 3 and about 40 when idle.
CPU has the same result it being about 60 when playing dark souls 3 degrees and 40 when idle.
I will try to run DDU tommorow and will post the results as well.
I am kind of afraid to update my motherboard's BIOS after having done it before and ending up with a broken motherboard.
Ty for the reply

Okay so I ran DDU and installed clean drivers for my GPU but unfortunatelly it did not fix my issue.
However I was wondering considering i have an APU, might the problem be that I have an integrated graphics card in my CPU while also having the R9 380X in my PC.
Should I disable the integrated GPU from my APU?
