Do you need a graphics card if you have an AMD?

At the moment, my pc has 8gb of RAM and a 6-core processor. My processor is the AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz, and i am wanting to play games like far cry 3, 4, Dishonored, battlefield 4 and maybe even skyrim. I am not sure yet. If i was to get a graphics card, i would probably get the
EVGA GeForce GT 710 DirectX 12 02G-P3-2713-KR 2GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Video Card.

Solution
Why did you entirely change the question, you could have just made a separate one. Yes you do need a GPU, and dont get the GT 710, it is way overpriced for the performance it gives. You would be better off getting a second hand old card like the 750ti or something.

Even lower, under $60
Because its my first pc, and my budget is about $400 Aud, so i can only spend around $40-$60 (around $50 usd)
I dont mind my games not looking too good, I simply want my games to run smoothly.

I have found a second hand NVIDIA GTX 560, is that any good?
