Setup so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Z170-E ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Storage: Samsung 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card
Case: NZXT H440 (Matte Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

I like this gaming setup so far but I just have a couple of problems.
1. I don't have room for the optical drive with that case and video card. Is that okay or is it necessary?
2. Any monitor/keyboard recommendations would be great. League of Legends and Overwatch are my games but after I finish the build I will probably branch out into more graphically intensive games
3. Should I buy Windows 10 or is there a cheaper/free way to get it shifty look

What is your budget?
I kind of recommend getting a case with an optical drive just in case you happen to need to install something from a CD like office, but an external drive will do the same thing.
Separate budget for monitor/peripherals?
You can get Windows 10 for about $20 from G2A or Kinguin, but these are resold keys by other community members, and can be very dodgy.
Be sure to pay a few bucks extra for G2A shield or the Kinguin equivalent to make sure the code is valid. (It will cover you if it is illegitimate.)
Do you need an optical drive? I have one installed I use occasionally. You can always buy a USB powered external one. I also have an external BD-ROM that works fine.

What kind of monitor/budget are you looking at? Soecific features? USB hub, 4k, Gsync or freesync? 144Hz and size, ect? Keyboard same kind of questions. Macro keys or lighting needed?

Going forward with gaming and DX12 in general, I'd go with Windows 10.
