Sapphire Dual-X R9 280 or MSI Geforce GTX 960 4GB?

So I was cleaning out my closet of excess PC parts and found a Dual-X R9 280. I'm currently using the MSI GTX 960 4GB which I recall as being better, though i couldnt use the R9 properly because I didnt have the correct drivers installed. So my question is which is better? Which do I use in my PC and which do I sell? Thanks

Both are amazing cards, but I would have to go with the GTX 960 because of its amazing performance in some graphic intense games.. it can sometimes get a 20fps difference than the r9 280.

Well the problem was on my end. i didnt realize i had the wrong driver installed and was experience texture issues in every game i played. This was over a year ago. I thought the card was a lemon. I'm just asking which one is better apples to apples. I dont doubt the 280 would work if i installed it correctly. I'm just not sure it's a better GPU or not.
