When ever I'm playing games on my computer high or low settings, depending on the settings I can play between 2 and 15 minutes then my computer turns off, as if it was turnt off by the switch then it'll turn back on. I've done a lot of research on this issue and a lot of people are saying its a PSU issue but I'm looking for some advice on my computer before I go and buy another PSU.

My computer specs are.

CPU: Intel core i7-4770k
GPU: nvidia GeForce GTX 770
Ram: 2x Kingston 8gb modules
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z87X-OC-CF
Storage: Kingston 128gb SSD and 2tb Western digital green
PSU: 850W ATX modular

P.S. I built the computer myself.

Looking on Amazon UK I found this excellent EVGA unit. It isn't 850 watts, but you don't need that much power if you are not overclocking. It has sufficient power for your system with 45.8 amps on the +12V rail; Nvidia recommends 42 amps for the whole system, not just the video card, based on an i7 build...

Ok thanks for the information. Would you be able to recommend me any PSU's for around 50-80 pounds? Please would be much appreciated.

EVGA SuperNova G2 550 W Gold Fully Modular Power Supply Unit
Has a 7 year warranty. Will be a bit more efficient on 220v power then it is on 110, so will save you a little bit over time.

This would be an acceptable second choice: not as well built as the EVGA but better then the older CX models and the one you are using:

I know these are at the limit of your budget, but look at it this way: The computer you save may be your own.
HOWEVER, before you spend your hard earned money, you might want to try this: If you can borrow a known, good, working (and that's important, it Should be a quality unit if possible) PSU; hook it up to your PC, and if your computer STILL turns off - it probably isn't your power supply: You will have to trouble shoot your mobo and/or other components.
