Hello!
So I'm planning to build:
Intel Core i7-5820K 15M Cache, up to 3.60GHz

+
Gigabyte GA-X99-Ultra Gaming

+
MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming 6G (already bought)

So my main question is which ram will fit me best & my budget, if i were to use this pc for HQ Games,3D rendering,Video Editing, and more animation & game dev. Related stuffs.

which one should i buy?
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Single DDR4 2400 (cheaper)

or a

GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB Dual DDR4 3200

Also I'm new to x99 mobo, if i were to upgrade my ram to 64gb or 128gb will i be able to use all the 8 slots for it?
is it better to buy 2x8 ddr4 ram than 1x16 ddr4 ram?

Solution
You are building on X99, I'd go with a minimum of a 4x set of DRAM be it 4x4GB or 4x8GB to utilize the quad channel capabilities of the rig. Sort of a waste to put out the money for a nice CPU and mobo and underutilize it. As far as expanding the DRAM, always best to buy the full amount you want in a single package, there are no guarantees when mixing packages of DRAM

Admirable
1) For video rendering/ animation, etc. you really would benefit from at least 32GB of RAM if you could afford it.

2) The GA-X99 can easily support the Ripjaws 3200, which will run faster than the Crucial 2400. So between the two I would recommend the Ripjaws.

3) Your motherboard will be able to utilize dual-channel RAM, so buying RAM in a set (pairs of 2, 4, or 8) will allow for the most efficiency. I.E. for 16GB total it would be best to get two 8GB cards.

4) Yes, for 64 or 128GB memory packs you would be able to use all 8 RAM slots.

Was planning to build 64gb is it possible for me to use all the 8 ram slots of my mobo for it? this is with 5820k cpu.

Here you go! :)
The x99 board listed was way overkill, and assuming this is for rendering I chucked in a top of the line air cooler and a 2400MHz 64GB kit of DDR4 RAM.
The Asus X99-A II is one of the best x99 boards around. (within a reasonable price range)
