Short, Frequent Lag Spikes in Online Games

I recently reset my windows, and since I reset it, I've getting lag spikes in CS:GO and Overwatch. The lag spikes last for around 2 seconds and cause my ping to go from 60-120, and causes a massive amount of rubberbanding. This makes it almost impossible for me to play. I did a test on pingtest.net and received an "A" with 0 packet loss and 2ms Jitter. All of my drivers are updated and I am using Wifi.

Try using Google DNS. Some players say this helps. https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

If that doesn't work try to determine your optimal MTU and set this in your computer and router. https://support.zen.co.uk/kb/Knowledgebase/Changing-the-MTU-size-in-Windows-Vista-7-or-8

Neither worked for me, but thanks for the response. Might just be my internet but didn't have this problem before the reset

Do you recall ever making any modifications to any Windows network settings? Windows can sometimes install the wrong driver.
