Help me choose a gtx 1060 please!

Hi guys, i am almost set on all the parts for my system build but i would like some advice about which version of the gtx 1060 6gb to go for. When i look at the different brands on pcpartspicker they have different core clock speeds listed for each one in ghz, does a higher number mean the card is more powerful and should i take that into account when making my choice? One thing i would like to know, where do pcpartspicker get those core clock speed numbers from, for example i went to the official page for the MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G and Boost Clock / Base Clock / Memory Frequency numbers are listed there in mhz rather then ghz, no core clock speed is listed there so i am a bit confused where those numbers come from. I currently have the Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Dual Video Card selected for my build but i don't know if its the right one to go for, are there any issues with it? Any advice you can offer with regards choosing between all the different brands would be most helpful...

It doesn't really matter that much which brand you choose, especially when you're going to overclock. Your final overclock is a function of the silicon lottery, not the brand you choose. I usually go EVGA with Nvidia cards because their support is excellent in the US, but ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI are also very reputable.

Adding onto the above,

Core Clock is the same as Base Clock, and as an example, 1.6GHz is 1600MHz.

Agreeing with the above, the only difference between the cards are the cooling on them, such as single, dual or triple fans, some come with water cooling. But if you're planning on overclocking, any brand will do. Obviously, the higher core/base clock speed is better, but there will most likely be less of an overclock on the card.

base clock means very little with boost 3.0 because as soon as there's load on the card it will boost to higher clock.
for example: my 1070 has a base clock of 1635 MHz, a boost clock of 1835 MHz
when gaming it boosts - on default settings - to 1974 MHz.
when idling it's around 700MHz. I have yet to see a situation where it's at 1635 MHz

the boost clock the manufacturer claims is the MINIMUM boost clock your card is able to reach at any time. with Pascal's boost 3.0 you will be boosted beyond this usually but with heavy load and bad airflow the boost clock is what your card should deliver at any time
so personally I'd either go with the best boost clock or just get the cheapest decent cooled card on the market as they all perform around the same usually

just a question about the gigabyte g1, i have read that there is a problem with coil whine with that card, have you noticed that yourself?
