i connected 6 pin power connector to 4 pin mainboard.. and my pc turn on for few second and turn off.. after that pc not work.

i connected 6 pin power connector to 4 pin mainboard.. and my pc turn on for few second and turn off.. after that pc not work.
is it damaged my motherboard ?
and have a way to solved it??
i am from iran and i dont have asus warante in there

Pfff, theoretically the difference between the 4 pins you connected is the orientation of the current.

4 pin
1 ground
2 ground
3 12V
4 12V

6 pin
1 12V
2 12V
4 ground
5 ground

There's very specific ways to connect these cables so you don't accidentally connect a 12V pin to a ground slot, so I'm assuming that's . . . bad.
But I can't tell you how bad.

I want to know Which piece of motherboard is Burned.. so i can find this piece on other burned motherboard in pc market and repair it..
so have this question: can any body tel me what pieces is burned?? only
