I am currently dual booting Windows 7 and Windows 8.

I partitioned the drive again and then copied the Windows 8 partition into it. Unfortunately the boot manager does not see it on start up.

How can I have two Windows 8 and one Windows 7 operating systems?

Thanks

yup, that's it.

no problem running win 8 twice, i have done that many times over the years and it's not an issue. so long as the valid keys are there, you're good to go once you do a fresh install.

you need a fresh install of win 8 for it to get into the boot manager and wherever else it needs to be. you'd have to format that last partition and then do a clean install of win 8 to that one. you will probably need a new win 8 key however, as each key is only valid for one install. you might get lucky and it will activate again for you but that would be just very lucky since it is not supposed to work that way.

simply copying partitions does not do what it needs to do as there is a lot more going on than the files on the partition to keep windows running.

So clear the new partition I just made and then do a fresh install into that partition?

I can do that, the key issue is not a problem.

Thanks
