Hello,

So I own a pair of Air-Fi Metro 2 Bluetooth earphones and I would like to know of anyone that knows how to repair these.I've owned these for 2 years now so RMA is not an option at this point and I'de like to try and repair them myself. One side works the other side no sound unless I wiggle the cable some sound might come trough. I am thinking it might be a solder issue but I do not know how to pry it open without breaking. Does anyone know how pry this open? Thanks!

Sounds like a bad wire to me. After years of use, flexing can break the wire. There's probably no quick and easy way to do a good repair on the wire. You would just have to open it up and bond it where it's broken, but the wires can be so small you may have to use magnification and micro soldering, or find some better method to attach the two ends of the wire to itself.

Another alternative may be to open both ear buds and replace the cable altogether, or perhaps replace the cable from the control module to the ear bud that's having intermittent connection issues.

I know it's not ideal, but for the price those are listing for it seems more practical to purchase a new pair of ear buds than to try and repair the old ones. There are a...

There are a great many small gadgets like this which are not meant to be disassembled once they have been put together at the factory. You may end up having to do permanent damage to open one of the ear pieces.
