I bought this old pc from a friend, and i want to upgrade it. I bought an EVGA GTX 1060, but when i plugged it in, it wouldn't boot. After a ton of troubleshooting, I decided that a new motherboard was needed. I have looked up a few different ones and have come up with this one:

Asrock H61M-DGS

My question to you is if you think it would fit into the system.

Current pc: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03142632

Thanks in regards

Physical dimensions yes it will fit.

However in many cases HP boards have their own mount/standoff pattern that does not match MicroATX exactly. So you may find yourself needing to buy a new case. Also the port guard isn't always removable, that again will mean some of your ports may not line up or may be blocked.

look like yes. The HP computer uses a uATX board which is the same as a mATX board and the Asrock you picked is a mATX. But other than that idk. I hope this helps.
