Secondary hard drive

Solution
Welcome to the TH Community, @donnamichelle1020!

Since this is your secondary HDD and I assume it's a brand new one, you basically need to do what Luminary explained.
I'd like to share with you the step-by-step tutorials on how to:
1. Initialize your HDD
2. Partition & Format it

You need to follow both procedures and that would make the secondary HDD's capacity accessible through the File Explorer (My Computer/This PC).

If you have more questions regarding this, let us know! We are here to help! :)
Good luck!

What operating system do you have?
Is it a brand-new drive?

- (Assuming Windows) You'll need to go to the 'Disk Management' program. Here is a link to a short article explaining how to do that in different versions of Windows: LINK
- In disk management, you should see your new 2nd drive. It might be uninitialized, and if so you'll need to right-click it and select 'initialize'
- After that (again assuming Windows) you'll need to right-click the drive again and select to format it (the default setting should be fine and make the drive ntfs)

After that the new drive should be ready to use and show up in the 'My Computer' section.
