so I'm building my first gaming rig and i have a plan for everything but the CPU. so my question is can I use a very basic CPU to get everything going then upgrade to a juicier CPU later on without a huge hassle?

Solution
You could probably drop a Pentium G4400 in it for < $75.00 and then later upgrade to an i5, or i7 depending on your needs/wants. Or if you do not want to spend a lot and not deal with the upgrade, an i3-6100 maybe?

so with this in mind i could just grab one of the other I5s i have around and drop it in no problem? (given its the correct socket) then "just" swap it out later?
