Currently I'm stuck with a GTX 760 as my graphics card, used to be a beast but now with battlefield 1 coming out I don't even meet the minimum requirements to play the game. The 1070 8GB seems like the next best thing as it bests the 980 Ti, and is $300 cheaper that the 1080. Here's my specs:

Case: Asus Essentio Series M51AD
(https://www.asus.com/us/Tower-PCs/M51AD/)

Motherboard: ASUSTEK COMPUTER Inc. k30ad_m31ad_m51ad

Power Supply: 500W

Sorry about the lack of information on the motherboard, after doing a quick internet search it seems like no one has a clue what motherboard they have lol

(If you'd like to see the inside of the case, I can link pictures if needed but honestly there's at least 5 inches of room for the length of the graphics

Solution
If the GTX 760 is working now, the GTX 1070 will also work. If you are concerned about the card's length, you'll need to measure the room you have inside the case and compare that to the exact GTX 1070 in question. 1070s vary in length.
