How do i pick a psu when the reviews never seem consistent?

Solution
Just a skosh more (couple dollars more then AMazon) and you get two more years warranty (7 vs 5).

This one give you a little extra power, in case you want to do some light overclocking or add more things to your build, and it scores a 9.8 at Johnnyguru; five year warranty.

Really can't go wrong with any of the powersupplies mentioned in the replies, including the one you chose.
Good luck with your build!
+1 to above. Seller websites are clogged with reviews from people who don't know what they're talking about. Did you know that you don't even have to buy a product off of Newegg to review it? You can review it without ever buying it. This leads to tons of people clogging up the reviews section with unrelated junk reviews.

SuperNOVA GS is good quality.

What components are you trying to power?

Here is my build http://pcpartpicker.com/list/NtTkD8

No GPU yet but i plan to get a EVGA GTX 1060 6GB sc
I'm hoping to make a good 1080p build i thought about getting a RX 480 for DX12 but i kind of feel DX12 may take a year or two to really catch on. till then i feel a 1060 should work for most 1080p gaming.
Thought about going for a 500w or 550w but i could not find one that i trusted do to the review issue i was talking about.

Looks like a solid build for the price. That power supply will have no problem with any revisions of the GTX 1060 or the RX 480.
