To summarize, 1 fan in the front intaking air into the case, 1 fan at the back exhausting air is perfectly fine. When they added extra fans to the front/back/side they made virtually no difference.

I would say, minimum 1 intake at the front, 1 exhaust at the back, Buying extra beyond that and you're probably just wasting your money, GTX 1060 doesn't run hot at all.

You said you have an Air 240 which funnily enough I own the same case. I have 2 LED fans at the front (literally just for the show appeal) and an exhaust fan at the top. Your stock configuration of your Air 240 will be...

The Air 240 comes with two intake front fans, and one top fan. I would maybe add another 120mm side fan to cool the drive area.

The APEVIA power supply selected is not good quality, though. It may even be a fire hazard. I'd get a quality Seasonic unit.

You'll also need a Z170 motherboard to overclock the i5-6600K and it doesn't come with a cooler. If you don't want to use water-cooling for it, the Cooler Master GeminII S524 Ver 2 seems like the best option since the case limits coolers to a height of 120mm.

I would also get faster memory than DDR4-2133, DDR4-2666 and DDR4-2800 have a good price/performance ratio.

Your stock configuration of your Air 240 will be perfectly fine ,especially since Corsair stock case fans are better than others I've come across.

Linustechtips also did a review of the Air 240

They say in the video adding a fan to the side to "cool" the hard drive bay area is a waste of time, as there would be virtually no air flow due to the PSU cables.
