Plasti dipping PC Case, GPU shroud, RAM shroud, keyboard

Hi guys
Im thinking about plasti dipping parts of my corsair 380t chassis,the shroud of my MSI R9 290 Gaming GPU and the shrouds of my G.skill Ripjaws ram sticks.
However I have never taken apart a GPU or RAM before and was hoping to get some advice. The GPU has a Twin Frozr IV cooler, would it be possible to remove the shroud without taking the heatsink and pcb off? Also, is it hard to disassemble and reassemble a GPU?

Don't plastidip RAMs, it will be detrimental to their cooling. RAM shrouds/heat dispensers are just glued to chips with heat transferring glue, you face serious damage when removing them. At most you can give them light coat of car spray paint but not too much.

a quick google on putting a waterblock on your card will give you easy instructions to disassemble it. just reverse that to reassemble it. its not hard. idk about that card in specific, but you can likely remove the shroud without taking off the whole block. if you do take off the whole block, just be sure to clean off the die with some isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth or a coffee filter(lint free!) or some qtips, and put on some new thermal paste before reassembling. be sure its non-conductive paste. a lot of choices are these days, but not all.

as for the ram, its likely just a few screws to pull it up. if theres anything connecting it to the chips on the pcb itll likely just be some thermal pads. just be sure not to lose them or forget where they go if they come off the chips.
