I've just built this pc:

Case: NZXT H440
CPU: i7 6700k
GPU: ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING
SSD: Samsung 850 evo 250g
HDD: WD Blue 2TB
PSU: Corsair CX750 watt
MoBo: Asus Z170 AR
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2133C13 16GB Kit (8Gx2) DDR4 2133

I'm on the PC playing overwatch for 30mins-1hour and all of a sudden the PC just freezes and the speakers make screech noises.

apparently it's to do with the psu. i heard that the Corsair CX series were not good for high end builds....that it was good for low budget builds? If so i was thinking of switching it for the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 Gold 750W PSU.

Please help, i do not know much about PC's

Might actually be your RAM. You can try Memtest86 to see if it is the ram. If your ram is fine try Aida64 (Trial version) to see if it crash from high temperatures if it's caused by it. Also try updating your drivers if both ram and everything works fine.

If it's your ram, try figure out which one.

If it's temperature, reapply thermalpaste.

If you still have the issue I don't know how to help you.

Thanks for your help, I'll let you know ASAP. I think its to do with my RAM because when I power off then power on my pc from the freeze, I notice that there is a red light where the RAM are and apparently it means that the RAM is not compatible with the motherboard (from the motherboard guide)
