Yes, big time. In fact, I suspect even the GTX 960 is being bottlenecked at times. Especially in multiplayer.
thanks a lot for the reply, i haven't noticed any bottlenecking before with the 960, could you suggest a better cpu that would go well with the gtx 1060? budget around £200-£300 or cheaper if possible
Bottleneck will only occur at times. And only in certain games (or multiplayer) where the CPU is in more demand. The 960 isn't really a bad choice for that APU. I would easily have used that myself. I was just trying to answer your question as accurately as possible. The GTX 1060 6GB is considerably faster than the 960

The result being (1) you will still see a great improvement over the 960, but (2) you will not get the maximum benefit that the 1060 has to offer. A better choice (still some bottleneck) might be the less expensive RX-470.

Plus, the AMD card has the edge in Win10 DX12 games.
