I have an Asus ROG Maximus VIII Formula motherboard with a Samsung 950 Pro and I seem to have all the settings correctly set in the BIOS to enable it to be the fastest speed possible. But when running CrystalDiskMark 5.1.2 x64 I continually get only about 60% of the speeds that are reported by other people, even those with the same motherboard as mine. I am getting sequential read/write speeds of ~1889/915 when the max should be ~2600/1500.

I noticed this issue shortly after setting up my machine. After tinkering with it and getting nowhere I decided to wipe it and reinstall everything from scratch. I ran the benchmark before installing anything other than Windows 10 with the same results

Has anyone else had this issue and how did you approach and fix it? Below is a copy of my bios settings and screenshots.

Here are my BIOS settings (txt file): https://1drv.ms/t/s!ALUSFaxsjyrNgpRv
Here is a screenshot of what is reported by Samsung Magician: http://imgur.com/18NVZzx
And here is the benchmark by Samsung Magician: http://imgur.com/iKbk4xl

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This might not be the issue, but try disabling Intel rapid storage technology (IRST) if you have it installed. Also make sure that you have updated the drivers/firmware for the drive from the Samsung website.
