Installing BCM94360HMB in Clevo P150SM-A: U.FL Antenna Connectors too big for MHF4 on card - Options?

* * * Please note: This thread is not about choosing a WiFi card. This IS the card I am going to install and I do hope I will receive intelligent opinions on how I should proceed.

Laptop Model: Clevo P150SM-A
(current) WiFi card: Intel AC 7260HMW - This is a half-height mini PCIe form factor, just like the card I plan to install.
(replacement) WiFi card: BCM94360HMB

The Challenge:

The WiFi antennas in this machine have Hirose U.FL (2mm) connectors that attach to my current Intel 7260HMW WiFi card. The card I wish to install has smaller IPEX MHF4(1.5mm). I would like opinions on how I should proceed in order to achieve the best possible results for the least effort.
* Please note that my laptop comes equipped with a 3rd antenna, so the fact that the new card has 3 antennas is not an inherent problem.

POSSIBLE OPTIONS

(1.) Replace my current antennas for the proper antennas. This is probably the most obvious answer, however, this does not seem to be a simple solution. t appears as though the entire motherboard will have to come out, and even then, I cannot guarantee that the new antennas will fit right.

(2.) Buy antenna adapters (pictures below) that connect the MHF4 from the BCM94360HMB to the stock antennas. This shouldn't be too much more effort than a typically WiFi card swap. I am not sure if this will negatively effect the signal, so if you have tried this before, please let me know of your success or failure related to it.

(3.) Desolder the MHF4 connectors on the new BCM94360HMB and solder new U.FL connectors so that I can simply use my stock antennas. This may not be possible, it was just a thought. I will look over the datasheets to make sure the foot print will atleast line up on the PCB. If it does, I can't see why this won't work.

*One thing I am particularily curious about is how specific WiFi antennas are for the device. How important is the length of the antenna? I ask because I have seen both 35mm and 18mm claiming to work for the BCM94360HMB.

At this time, I would sincerely like to hear thoughts on this. This is not something I am very knowledgeable about, and so I am turning to the community for advice before rushing into this. All info and advice pertaining to these questions and issues will be greatly appreciated.

Here's what the WiFi card looks like in my PC:

Adapters would be best here, I doubt you would be able to connect those small connections to the cables well enough and without spending too much time and annoyance with. I'm sure those are cheap enough to get so if there is a signal issue with using them you can try something else.

Finally, an adviser! I do appreciate your advice and the is actually the initial option I chose. I will post back with answers as soon as I have some, but it may take a while since I ordered both the BCM94360HMB WiFi card and adapters via ebay from China.

For those interested in making a dual boot Windows/Mac OS system, this is the WiFi car to get. It worked out of the box with both OSX and Ubuntu and is super fast with excellent range. The installation was very easy and took about 5 minutes, however, I installed the BCM94360HMB in a Clevo P150SM-A, so it already had 3 antennas. The stock antennas had U.FL connectors, so I used the 3 U.FL to MHF4 adapters that came with it. Connecting the ultra small MHF4 leads to the card was the toughest part for me.
I hope this helps someone!
