I really need some advice on my home built PC. My PC died while my girlfriend was using it and it wouldn't power back on.
After looking into it, I saw the power to the fans would come on for 2 seconds before failing. I could see the power would going to the motherboard because the light was on. I took the machine part cleaned it all out and still the same problem. I got a spare low watt PSU to test and the system would power up perfectly. I've now replaced my old PSU with a brand new on and it've installed in and it's powered on my PC. However my problem now is there is no power to the mouse, keyboard and the monitor doesn't get some image.
When I turn the PC on now it comes on for 5 seconds with the fans spinning but then they stop for a few seconds before continuing again without stopping. I just don't have a mouse or a keyboard now.
Got any advice on what could be my problem?
