I don't know too much about PC's so I went online to look at guides and recommendations and I have found this one which I really like..
Main use for me would be gaming (Blizzard, Bethesda games and Steam), very limited video/photo editing.
Went onto PC part picker (Canadian site) and found the cheapest places to get the parts and the ones that included Free S/H if possible..
Slightly over what i'd prefer to pay..
Any suggestions how i can keep similar performance for a little bit less?
All input welcome!

CPU Cooler: look for Scythe Mugen or CM Hyper Evo. but you'll need low profile RAM for those coolers like Corsair Vengeance LPX

SSD: look for a Crucial Mx300 instead. better quality.

GPU: no need to pay that much extra as 1070s all perform the same

I'd go with:

Thanks for the fast reply. I will definitely look further into your suggestions.
The build you put together also won't have taxes even though it says it does.. so it'll run up to roughly the same as the original.
Appreciate the input thanks! :)

Also I the tricky thing with the website is that it says "Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available" but taxes aren't included on the Canadian website

At the moment don't have a decent one, so i will be getting a new one but that'll be after this part..
its 12% where I am.. kinda sucks.
I'd prefer to end up close to $1500 CAD than $2000 CAD but if it's worth it i'll consider it.. That is just the rig
monitor a separate budget
