My printer isn't printing correctly half the characters of each word are either missing or blurred. I have done all the usual maintenance checks, cleaning print heads etc. Also I have cleaned with window cleaner the spikes that pierce the ink cartridges. Does anyone have a similar problem and solution? Thanks

Might take a couple of cleanings especially if there is dried ink.
Would be very unsure about using window cleaner. Try ordinary rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to do the cleaning.
