Hi

Looking for advice on upgrades. I asked this question a little while ago, but my requirements have changed.

I am looking to upgrade to a 2k monitor in the next few months and want to see what graphics card I should get. Ideally I want to get the gtx 1060 as it is considerably cheaper than the 1070, however will I be able to play games at a high setting at 2k with this or do I really need the 1070?

Also will I have a bottleneck with my CPU

The sort of games I play / am looking to play below
>Battlefield 1
>Watchdogs 2
>Maffia 3
>GTA 5
>Forza 3
>FSX:SE
>F1 2016

Existing set up:

ASUS Z87-A Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4670K
4 x 4GB Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
GeForce GTX 760 x 2 (in SLI)
240 GB Kingston SSD
3 TB Segate HDD x 2
Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified PSU (I know my PCU is not great so any suggestions on an upgrade will help)

Thanks

Solution
if by 2K you mean 1440p monitor, than GTX 1060 will do the OK experience with 60FPS target, while GTX 1070 will be great.
The 144Hz monitors will need a GTX 1080 for high settings and if you are ready to compromise just a bit on settings, GTX 1070 will also be great.
