i just bought a ibuypower with a gigabyte ga78lmt usb3 mobo im trying to find out what my CPU is but there a fan on top of it and i cant get it off? any ideas? it almost lookes glued on? and also the power works on it but doesnt show any picture so i took it o a store and they said the miobo is prol burnt so im lost!

Solution
Sell them both and start a brand new build. The hard drive, 370, and possibly the case are the only parts of your ibuypower worth keeping. You could maybe keep the RAM if you go with a 4th gen Intel build which would still be miles better than what you have.

i bought it off ebay and took it to my loval comp store and the mortherboard was fried so got that all fix and now its runnin with a gigabyte motherboard amd quad core processor and a MSI radeon r 7 370 i wanna upgrade the mother board tio on with 2 or more graphic cards. any idfeas on agood board?

For an ibuypower system I would not run a second video card on it, their power supplies are normally low quality. The R7 370 is not a bad card, it will be fine for games. Your CPU will likely be an issue with anything run on high settings anyway that needs a fast card. And it's silly to buy a used system to save money, then have to fix it in a computer shop then spend more money to upgrade it again.

tru i didnt no it was broken obv but i didnt feel like goin thru returning it so i kept it and fix it up and i no i need a new psu Im goin to get a 800 watt psu i just need to know whjat motherboard wud be perfect for 2 or more cards

Don't waste more money on the system, you could have just bought a new one to begin with if you are buying a power supply, new motherboard and second card, especially with an AMD CPU. If you really want to spend more money on a computer, sell yours, start a new build with new parts. Either wait for the new AMD CPUs to come out, or use an Intel i5 CPU. The only thing you actually paid money for as it stands was the case, CPU and Windows license since everything else you are replacing. Is what you paid for the computer a good value for a cheap case, a slower CPU than most Intel stuff and Windows?

Or did you not already replace the motherboard? If not, then maybe just the motherboard replacement would be good, I wold not spend anything on the computer past that.

ya i replaced the motherboard and bought and switch the graphic card so it wud play call of cuty advance warfare. but now i wanna run 2 monitor so wouldn it be better i have a studio 540 2 with intel core 2 quad core? whcih on wud u upgrade?

You can run two monitors off a single video card.

No it won't be better if you use a system with an almost 10 year old CPU.

If you have a newer quad core AMD CPU, I'm guessing the FX 6300 and an R7 370 card you are fine with the system as is. If you want a faster computer, sell yours, build one around an Intel i5-6500 or similar chip with an nVidia 1060 video card.

Ibuypower is as good as any lower end pre-built system maker, they tend to go for flashy cases, numbers like how much GB of RAM they have, how many ghz the CPU has, and then save money by buying cheap parts, especially with power supplies and using last generation parts or cheaper motherboards and slow video cards.

I would not upgrade either of the systems.
