Hello all, I bought a used ASUS P9X79 LE and to my surprise it has a E5 2697 V2 CPU on it. I want to use this for my Color Grading/Video Editing system. I did the bios update and came across a note stating that the new bios 4801 allows the motherboard to support 128gb or ram. I was shocked as this might be a lost diamond of board and CPU combo.
I will buy a GTX 1080 or the Titan X to make this a good custom build, but need the ram to beef it up as well.
Can anybody help me pick the correct ram for this custom build please?
