First off I installed Linux as a dual boot with windows 10 & with countless problems with connecting to the internet I decided to remove Linux from my secondary HDD.

Once I removed it in windows I was still getting the dual boot menu so I went into the BIOS & changed the boot device back to my SSD with Windows on it thinking there wouldn't be a problem with that.

So while I was in the BIOS I noticed the quick boot option which I then turned on to ultra fast to see how fast it was as I never seen it before.

So once I saved & exited the BIOS I was expecting Windows to boot up really fast but a screen which reads "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press any key".

So to cut a long story short my keyboard wont work as I'm in Ultra Fast boot mode & I cant boot an OS.

I was just wondering if I can fix the keyboard with a USB to PS/2 adapter? & if that does work how to get back to windows 10?

reset your cmos unplug the pc and pull the cmos battery out for 10 min or if you have a jumper for clearing the cmos or a button jump or push the bott for 10 sec....... that will disable fast boot and your keyboard should work

you will have to do a clean MBR as usually when you install Linux it will install its own boot loader which also allows you to boot a windows install. You will have to reinstall the windows boot loader. once you get windows working then you can try the fast boot again.

Then I typed in: bootsect /nt60 drive_letter: /mbr (Replace drive_letter with your letter, e.x. for me it was C: /mbr)
And it finally worked.
Hope this clarifies also the solution for people with the same problem as me."
