Nvidia 4600 cards

Hi I have a p5n-e sli mobo just tried installing 2x nvidia quadro cards to replace old gt6600 an pc just alarms any ideas pic advisor says there compatible? Thanks dan

Do the cards work one at a time? Did you try a BIOS update? Is the power supply good enough to run the cards? Test the cards in another system?

Hi thanks no still alarms in single mod have Hx 620 watt corsair have no additional power leads cards plugged in on there own not sure how to update the bios ? Dan

What exactly do you mean by "alarms"? Error beeps? Did you check on what they mean on the mobo support site? BIOS update you'd get from the motherboard support site.

Yeah bleeps won't start up I'll have a look on the site thanks not sure there compatible only going by pc advisor !
