Hi everyone.

I'd do with some help. I've been looking to enable Virtualization on my PC (specs below).

I updated my BIOS via Acer's website to the latest available for my PC : v1.09 (InsydeH2O, I see Rev. 5 when in UEFI).

I checked if my CPU (specs below) supports Virtualization via SecurAble, and it does : http://i.imgur.com/o97dkMg.png

It is not enabled, tho : http://i.imgur.com/6FwdwO5.png

(Saying Windows 7 because I'm running it in W7 compatibility mode since I'm on Win10)

I checked every option and security option, NOTHING referncing to Virtualization / AMD-v or SVM.

I tried disabling and enabling Hyper-V using bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off , on and auto .

If it could help, I use Avast Free Antivirus, there is no option called "enable hardware-assisted acceleration".

So I'm wondering, how do I enable it ?
Do I really need to risk it all and flash a modded BIOS to get the option ?
Or is there another way ?

SPECS :
Acer Aspire (E15) E5-523G
Windows 10 Pro
64-bits
CPU/Processor : AMD A9-9410 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G, 2900 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date : Insyde Corp. V1.09, 8/3/2016
BIOS Mode : UEFI

Solution
I believe the motherboard/bios has to support it as well, and if it doesn't you're SOL.
Contact Acer and ask them if your laptops mobo supports it.
