I lost my Dell factory recovery partition on my hard drive because the dell technical support people told me to do so to repair my PC.

I am not happy with what they have done, factory settings are no longer available to me and my windows 10 on my pc keeps on getting corrupted.

Does anyone know any partition recovery software that does not cost and can get me back my recovery partition? Because it had my dell factory image with the system tools and Dell keeps on saying I have to pay to get a recovery disk even though my PC is still in warranty and I am NEVER paying for the big mistake they have made to my PC.

Solution

If you are getting drive errors, the fix would be to replace the failing hard drive not keep re-installing Windows 10. You are fixing the symptom not the actual issue. If the system is under warranty they should replace your drive with the correct image on...

If you are running Windows 10 the recovery partition is not important.

Simply do a clean installation from a USB stick made with the Windows 10 media creation tool and then download all of the needed drivers and install them.

If your recovery partition is gone, it is gone, forget about it.

Eventhough I am running a clean install of Windows 10, it is not stable. it gets corrupted with too many drive errors after a few months and I have to keep on reinstalling windows 10 over and over again.

I do not want to forget about it, those dell people made me delete it even when I did not want them to, it is their fault and I want it back.

I want to be back on that factory image and there must be a software that is free for me to get it back, please can anyone help?

IT IS GONE! You actually deleted it when you listened to others, you should have come here first.

Follow the advice and just create an installer USB and install from it, just do it.

And perhaps you would try to help yourself and post details of your Dell system like a model number. Was this an original Windows 10 machine or did your upgrade from another version?

You may want to have a friend or someone that knows about computers better to contact them for you and maybe check over the system to see what is really wrong with it.

It's ok now, I've sent my PC in for repair today and hopefully they will replace it with a brand new hard drive with all those partitions.
