Hello everyone
I bought my hp desktop pc about 2 months ago, and about a month after i bought it i get this problem
Where everything is working fine, but suddenly every single application goes "not responding", i cant even open the task manager
I have rolled back to my original gpu driver, checked my ram and did a CHKDSK and foun no problems
However when i did a sfc /scannow it told me that windows found corrupt files but was unable to fix all of them
Can this be the reason behind this ?
Someone suggested it was the gpu overheating, but the temps are pretty normal 39-60c
Please, any help would be GREATLY appreciated, this problem has been giving me nightmares
I should also mention that i installed windows 7 so many times that im sure its not the problem

Thanks

Is your HDD light blinking very fast or solid when this occurs? Run malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/

Which anti-virus do you use? If you use a third party anti-virus, make sure windows Defender is completely turned off. Make scheduled disk defrag is turned off. Install defraggler and see how defragmented your HDD is. It is possible some startup programs are interfering with the computer operation.

Okay
I ran malwarebytes and delted 6 malwares
Turned off windows defender
Turned scheduled defragment off
I checked every single drive i have with defraggler and found no errors
But the problem still exists
As of the HDD light, i have to lights infrint of my case one with a symbol of a light bulb and this never blinks
The other i cant identify its symbol but when this problem happens it blinks literally every single second, i timed it
Please dont ignore this post i need this pc fixed ASAP

With the malwarebytes, did you run a "threat scan" or a "custom scan" with your entire HDD selected? If it was "threat scan", then run a "custom scan" with your entire HDD, select "scan for rootkits" and "treat potentially unwanted programs as malware". If you did all of this already, were the threats Malwarebytes found "potentially unwanted programs" or malware? Make sure windows is up to date, including optional updates.

I reran the malwarebytes scan for the entire HDD it dected more threats this time but before it finishes the scan the pc froze again ..
I should also mention that before i reran the scan again the pc worked fine for 5 hours i then shutdown the pc and re opened it to make the scan again just to make sure when i saw your reply

you may have an issue with your windows 7 . I was having similar problems not that long ago and was never able to figure out just what it was . but i do know that somewhere with in windows i had problems linked to my GPU . i ended up doing away with windows 7 and got windows 10 . there is a free version you can download from Microsoft . only down side is the water mark at the bottom right hand comer. . after i did that i have no issues at all . i can give you the link if you would like .

Thanks man, yes i would like the link for windows 10
But i was doing some research and i found a file called issdone.dll.mui
My pc detected it as corrupt i heard it could be the reason behind this
So please if you have another solution other than windows 10 it would be much appreciated
