My computer crashes every single day, usually while playing video games, but sometimes even outside of it.
It frequently crashes during League of Legends while I'm in a game. I can't even enjoy being on my computer anymore because of it constantly crashing. It usually flashes several boxes of random colors and makes a random beeping noise that's incredibly loud.

My CPU is Intel core i7-6700 cpu at 3.40 GHz
Motherboard is 0XJ8C4 Dell
I have 36 GB RAM
My video card is a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 3GB

My CPU Runs at 3.41 GHz with 4 cores

I really have no idea what I'm talking about if that's not obvious. If it helps any, the crashing started right when I put in my new 1060 graphics card, and my idea might be that my motherboard is super out of date.

Any help would be appreciated.

Last time I updated my BIOS I had to take it into a computer repair store and they ended up switching my computer to legacy because it kept popping up 'no bootable devices', so I'm kind of skeptical to do that again.
I've heard my psu could be the problem too though. But on the minimum requirements for the graphics card it says at least a 400w psu and mine is 460w

I just had this issue and after many long and arduous months of testing every component I found out it was the CPU. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3215174/playing-games-crashes.html#18830454 here is the link to my original thread. For me I play blizzard games so they were crashing and then sometimes when doing installs or updates the computer was crashing. I cant say for sure its the CPU, but it sounds very similar.

First off, try it without the FrankenRAM (only way you got to 36 GB of RAM). Run the PC with only two matching sticks.

Would need more details about the PSU. It's not just "find enough wattage and go." There are a lot of junk PSUs out there
