R9 280x Continuously Crashing

I recently upgraded my computer from a relatively mediocre build (AMD FX 8320, 2x 4GB DDR3 RAM, MSI R9 280x)

Initially, I upgraded everything but my Graphics card, as it was still good enough to run most games at the settings I wanted. But I began having problems when I did. The card was constantly crashing.

I assumed that I had broken it somehow while moving it onto my new MB, so I went ahead and bought a new one (Sapphire R9 280x vapor-x: Same card, different brand, little more high-end)

Anyway, the issue didn't go away. I have an 850W PSU by the way, so I know that is not the issue.

I've been looking online and what I've been reading from most people having the same issue is that the Voltage is too low and telling people to increase it from 1.5 to 1.6ish - Mine is running at MAX 1.14 - which is extremely low, but I can't change the voltage of this card. I can change the power limit, but not the voltage.

Incidentally, it only seems to be crashing while I have any kind of 3D rendering going on, but I also tried running the Unigine Heaven benchmark, and it ran with 0 problems whatsoever for a good 30 minutes. So this may be just games?

Also, Sometimes it will crash after playing for 5 minutes, then it will be fine for another 40, crash again, then it will be fine for a few hours.

Im not looking to do any OC or anything, I just want the thing to properly without having to worry about when the next time it is going to crash in the middle of a competitive Overwatch game or something.

There is no crash log, just everything freezes up for a second, then all my screens go black and then they come back

also, full specs:
MB: Gigabyte X99-UD3P
CPU: Intel I7-6800K
GC: Sapphire Radeon R9 280x Vapor-X
4x 4GB DDR4 2400MHz
2x 2TB HDD
1 Gaming Mouse (G.Skill Ripjaws)
1 Gaming Keyboard (Razer Blackwidow Ultra)
1 Webcam
1 USB WIFI Adapter

Also, on one game specifically, when it crashes, the game says "Your Rendering Device Was Disconnected and The Game Crashed."
