Hello. I have the 970A-DS3P (rev 2.0) motherboard, and i cannot install the usb 3.0 drivers. I have the following problem. When i try to install the drivers in a clean copy of windows 7 x64 Professional (after format), it throws at me a blue screen when windows restart (after installation), just before the welcome screen. I tried to install the 4.20B drivers first, then if i dont do anything and just try to install the 4.90A drivers, blue screen appears during the installation.

I have done all the Windows updates, and i have installed the chipset drivers too for the MB, didnt try updating BIOS though. Here is the minidumps of my attempts so far.

I tried to do a reversed isntallation, 4.90 first then 4.20B but the outcome was exactly the same, except it didnt crash before the welcome screen, but did crash during 2nd installation with 4.20B driver.

Edit:
One more thing. I have an Akasa card reader with 4 usb 3.0 ports on it and 2 fast charge usb 2.0. Windows do read that there is a card reader, neither the usb nor the card reader ports are "readabe" from the OS. Tried to isntall its drivers, but its a no-go.

Tried to install the latest, it crashed. Already done disconnecting everything from usb 3.0 ports, nothing changed. there is a small "card" which has 2 usb 3 ports on it, its connected to a pci slot. the card reader's usb 3 cable is connected on it. i thought it could help the situation a bit.

So i just checked it, have no idea what it is, no model name, nothing. basically, it has 2 usb 3.0 ports for external connectivity, and inside the computer, it receives usb 3.0 cable, and sata power cable. should i try and search it or could i recognize it with a linux OS that i have?

Well we gave most of the parts to a technician to assemble it, so i wasnt aware of that card being there. i thought it was card readers's card, never thought why would they give more ports with the product. unfortunately i just removed the number on the label, so the 2nd side is pretty much useless... Yeah dumb me, i tried to remove some dust and because of the heat, the ink was easy to remove.

One more device as unidentified will pop up follow the above method but except last step , where we have to select Intel (R) USB 3.0 Root Hub
