My AMD R9 270x 2GB graphics card is not giving display..
When I connect my graphics card to my monitor through HDMI it says out of range on the monitor.
Also when I connect my card through DVI cable it gives display but with 2 colored stripes in the middle.
Also I cannot install any graphics driver, the installation keeps getting stuck and sometimes needs hard reset.
Please help, anyone know how to fix this please I am desperate. :( :( :(

Solution

Of course! Again, try booting your system without the graphics card in it. If it boots fine, then you know it is your graphics card. If it doesn't, we can find another issue.

When you said that the display is working with the DVI input, then I am inclined to believe it is not the card's fault. Can you take a screenshot through your OS and post it here? If there are colored lines in the screenshot, then it isn't the monitor and would be a GPU problem.

I can't take a screenshot because even with the dvi cable, windows does not load it just hangs my pc during startup and needs a hard reset..
The two coloured lines I saw were in the bios setup display..

If that is the case then it probably is a hardware issue. Can you load into windows at all? If not, then you may need to get an RMA on that card. Also, remove and reinstall the GPU. What processor do you have? If you have an intel processor with an integrated graphics card:
1. Try booting windows through there.
2. Uninstall the graphics drivers and turn off your machine.
3. Reinstall the card and then install the drivers IF the machine even boots.

If the above doesn't work, remove and reinstall the CMOS battery WHILE THE MACHINE IS OFF. After that and the machine still doesn't boot, then you will need a new GPU.

No need to apologize. Honestly that is a "last-resort" thing I always do because it resets the BIOS. However I believe your card may have died on you. Have you changed anything recently that would have caused this problem?

No I haven't.
A month ago it was fine then a week later I started getting very low fps in games, then after a couple of days it crashed and hasn't run ever since.
Thankyou Allen I really appreciate your help. :) :)

Yes I have booted my system without my R9 270x graphics card and it works fine and been running my sytem for a day or two without it, no issue whatsoever..
So the conclusion is that my graphics card is dead.. :( :(
And I have to buy a new one and for that I have to save money which is a very long process.. :( :(

No problem. I am sorry that you may have to get a new GPU. One more thing, try placing your GPU in a different PCI-E slot and see if that makes any difference. It wouldn't hurt to try.
