Is i7 6700 compatible with Gigabyte X58A-UD3R

I am currently using i7 950 and planning to upgrade to i7 6700 (or if you have any other suggestions). Should i upgrade my motherboard as well? or it will work on my current motherboard which is Gigabyte X58A-UD3R.
