No, even under MBR you can have 4 primary partitions and then can use extended partitions instead of the fourth primary, which can then have many logical partitions -- too many to be useful. Perhaps you have used up all of the available drive space already with the first two that you have.
How about some additional information -- like post a picture of your disk management that shows the drive.
And why do you want to use additional partitions, with modern drives it is fairly inefficient and you can just use files to separate information unless you run different operating systems.
