Well, in CPU intensive games like Battlefield 1, there will be a slight bottleneck, but that won't affect the gameplay.

It supports but. A bad new for you. You will have huge bottlenecks with cpu. In Games Like Battlefield 1, you will have 100% Cpu usage while 30% Gpu Usage for sure.

Upgrade your Cpu with your gpu. gpu bottleneck is better than cpu as cpu bottleneck brings huge difference

To answer your question, yes you should be able to use the 1050/1050 ti. I believe there will be models that do not require a power connector, so you probably will be able to simply install the card.

Whether it's worth it, or if you'll be happy with the performance, well those are separate issues.

How about the GTX 1050ti with the Intel Core i3 6100?

The i3 6100 is a great mid-end processor and should be more than enough for the 1050Ti.

Yes, the i3-2021 will bottleneck the GPU. If you can't afford to upgrade the CPU, get the GTX 1050(non-Ti) to minimise the bottleneck, or the AMD RX 460 which would cost you less. Also make sure your system has atleast 8 gigs of RAM.

take a look at battlefield 1. 100% cpu usage with i5's there. :O

In some games yes the i3 will be a bottleneck like in fps games (battlefield, CoD), but in other games it wont.

You can always just test it and if it doesnt work just upgrade your cpu to an second hand i5 2500 or i7 2600, they are not expensive and you will have no issues. No need to buy a whole new cpu with motherboard with that gpu.
