Hi everyone!
I plan to get an Asus Strix GTX 1070.
Could you please let me know which cpu will be best?

I wont be OC-ing.

So, is i5-6600 good or is it gonna bottleneck 1070?
I kinda dont have budget for i7-6700.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
The i5-6600 is a perfectly good pair and won't bottleneck the 1070. If you wanted to spend as little money as you could while still getting great performance from the 1070, that would be your best bet.

If you would like to glance over the full range of bottlenecks for the 1070 take a look at the Tom's thread "Ultimate Bottlenecking Guide"

Thanks a lot for your reply!
I currently have a 1080p 60Hz monitor, but later I want to add a same and run in pair. But sooner I don't plan to go for 1440p or 144Hz.

Gaming on two monitors is inconvenient as the bezel in the middle is very annoying.
I'd suggest to go with GTX 1060 for now and instead of another 1080p@60Hz monitor, to get higher refresh rate or/and higher res monitor.
There are some nice 2560x1080 monitors - they are ultrawide and in supported games it's very fun.

Yes, I agree with you!
However I might not be gaming on two monitors.
I can use the second one for some dev stuffs and maybe rendering.

Than again, you don't need the GTX 1070.
GTX 1060 will handle gaming on 1080p + whatever on the second monitor very well. On the saved money, get the i7 - for some dev staff it is much more powerful. and that not to mention that i7 has much longer lifespan than i5. There are quite a few current games that hitting the wall on i5-6600K@4.5GHz when it comes to GPUs like GTX 1070/1080 (frame rates above 100). That will only get worse in the next couple of years.
