Last night I noticed a noise coming from my computer, and came the conclusion that it was coming from one of my HDD's. Unfortunately it seems to be one of my main ones. Thing is, I've looked up a bunch of "odd HDD noises" that are supposed to mean a failing HDD but none of them sound like the one mine is making, which is just noises you'd hear a loud optical drive make on like a Playstation 1 or something. I don't think that's abnormal, but it's strange to me that it wasn't making these sounds before, and I can't help but worry.
The one that's doing it is the WDC WD5000AAKS if that helps any.
