I have an oem version of windows and I now know that i cant swap mobs but what if I buy another cd key an how woul i do it?

What version of Windows do you have?

In Windows 10 I believe you can update your motherboard and still retain your current license as it it tied to your Microsoft account.

In previous versions you could often still keep the same OEM license by contacting Microsoft Support and explaining that you've replaced your motherboard and they could re-validate your key.

If all else fails and you need to buy a new version of Windows, you can buy it from reputable sites like Amazon or Newegg.
