I changed my CPU and the heatsink and fan and once it's all changed I went to turn it on I got an error in the BIOS saying that I have a CPU fan error also no CPU fan was showing it said N/A, is my motherboard broken or the fan?
I need help asap

Hello,

If your CPU fan isn't working, I'm surprised the thermal protection system didn't switch your computer off to avoid cooking the CPU. This may sound like a stupid question, but after fitting the new CPU and heatsink, did you make sure you updated the motherboard voltage settings, to make sure yours CPU is receiving the correct voltage? If yes, then either no voltage is reaching the fan or the fan itself is dead. Have you tried another suitable CPU fan?

When the fan want working I stayed in the BIOS to prevent somethon like that from happening but now it's all fixed just a stupid mistake
