Just upgraded to a second hand 250x from a GT 730. I have no display, can't get into bios or anything. I kept the Nvidia driver downloaded and was going to uninstall it/download the AMD one after installing the GPU. Could this be the reason it isn't working?

Okay, I have put the 730 back in and ran DDU. That went great. I put in the 250x and it is still just a black screen... Before it said No Signal but now it is just black. Do you think updating the bios could perhaps help? This is in an XPS 8900.

I have tried installing the driver from that direct link with the 730 in and it doesn't give me but 2 things to download. It gives the profile manager and the AMD install manager. Upon doing that I put in the 250x and it was still a black screen. Any other ideas?

That is literally the direct link to 16.9.2 drivers.

download that, install, then your 250x will be good to go

I'm sorry if I'm simply not understanding, but I am fairly certain it will not let me completely install the driver for that card unless the card is in, right? I can only install 2 things, rather than the 5+ that it is on my other computer with my R9 380. Once again, I am sorry if I am doing something incorrectly, I've never ran into a problem like this before.
