So I recently upgraded from a GT 610 to a R7 250, not good cards but i'm just testing. I uninstalled all of the nvidia drivers and installed all of the AMD drivers. But when I launch afterburner, both would core and memory clock would drop to 300 mhz every 7 seconds and then back up again. How do I fix this?

Solution
I haven't tried this myself, but I found a couple threads on how to stop GPU down clocking using MSI Afterburner.

Just remember that disabling down clocking may result in more heat, which could cause more problems. Be sure your fans are working properly and have adequate air flow.
